Watch a pair of 800-horsepower Corvette Z06s waging war

Both of these C6 Z06s have a lot in common. Both are mean and lean, both are outfitted with drag slicks, and both are rocking superchargers good for 800 horsepower. And, hey, look at that—they’re both lined up next to each other at this dragstrip.

What’s gonna happen next?

Well, the black Z06 will get the jump on the red one—despite it doing a pretty sweet burnout earlier. If Road Test TV is to be believed, one of these Z06s has over 900 horsepower.

That jump is good for an 8.8-second quarter-mile at 152mph. We bet that’s the one with a 900-horsepower motor.
