NOS-equipped Z06 invades Street Car Takeover

One fast-as-hell C7 Z06 came down to Georgia, lookin’ for a soul to steal, or at least a couple of passes to attack.

At Street Car Takeover in Atlanta, this C7 Z06 came with a Stage 4 Vengeance Racing package—custom cams, pulleys, American Racing long tube headers, and cold air intake—as well as transmission and driveshaft upgrades. With a 200-shot of nitrous, it’s putting out 1,088 horsepower. As Vengeance Racing’s R&D vehicle, both us and the owner would expect nothing less.

And at the track it put down some impressive numbers, overcoming some grip issues—even though it’s got the drag slicks. It’s been running consistent 10s, but it’s definitely a 9-second car, and the peanut gallery commenters believe that too.

Give it some more time, and that vaunted “driver mod,” and it’ll easily get there.
