Here’s one insane F-body Camaro, and certifiably so. And it’s set the record the for the fastest GM manual time: 8.3 seconds down the strip.
The super Camaro rocks a CRT76 turbocharger and a Texas Speed 367 longblock with BRC heads. A Midwest Chassis suspension lays the power to the ground, and a billet triple-disc clutch from Monster helps owner Ray Baluch pull off those lightning-fast runs—though one YouTuber asks, “does he even use the clutch when he shifts?”
It’s a far cry from last year, when Baluch nearly stuffed the amazing Camaro into a wall, but saved it. This time, the story looks a little better: he went 8.3 seconds in the quarter-mile at 168.8 miles per hour. Fire breathing, indeed.
